Arthroscopic surgeries generally take 1-2 hours to complete. The incisions are small. Patients experience less pain, return home on the same day, and are able to resume their normal activities sooner. Dr. Cheung has treated patients at all levels. Cheung was very nice, a good listener, and a calm presence, which is good for me, since surgery is an option that I wish didn't have to take. We talked over the history of my shoulder problem and the MRI results, and easily came to the conclusion that arthroscopic debridement was the best option for me.
