My name is Jubilee Barker, and I am a qualified piano teacher who teaches in the Sacramento area. I specialize in teaching beginners to late intermediate level students, both children and adults. I grew up in a musical family and started playing the piano as soon as I could reach the keys.
I was privileged to receive twelve years of private classical piano training from a San Francisco Conservatory-trained pianist, Valerie Hawkins, who nurtured my passion for music and for classical music in particular.I also studied music theory at American River College. I started teaching piano students at age 17, and have kept a full roster of piano students ever since.
