Dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable staff. Our orthodontic team has personnel employed by Dr. Musgrave spanning between 2 and 30 years. Our office staff has had a very low turnover rate because they enjoy their responsibilities and working for Dr. Musgrave. An experienced staff is a benefit to a patient's overall treatment.

Dr. Musgrave has been an orthodontist for over 25 years and chooses to do the right treatment, at the right time, to create beautiful smiles. The majority of our cases are treated without removal of permanent teeth. Also, many patients who have been told that jaw surgery is needed to correct their bite, have been successfully treated non-surgically by Dr. Musgrave.

About Board Certification
Report
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to become a board certified orthodontist. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
First Visit
Report
At your complimentary smile evaluation at Musgrave Orthodontics, Dr. Mark Musgrave will conduct a thorough and honest clinical orthodontic examination and explain all aspects of treatment options to meet your personalized needs himself. Occasionally, we will take a panoramic radiograph (x-ray) to determine the status of developing teeth.
Testimonials
Report
My family was pleased with the work Dr. Musgrave did for our daughters. He took the time to explain the treatment each needed, the costs (which were reasonable), and willing to talk. The staff is extremely friendly and always made us feel welcomed. I am so happy we chose to come to Dr. Musgrave. Our family has been going here for a long time.
Faq
Report
As a courtesy to you and your family dentist, we will always discuss the feasibility of braces or tooth straightening without charging a fee for the initial consultation. As a rule of thumb, we like to evaluate young patients after the 6-year molars erupt and the front permanent teeth just start to appear.
All About Braces
Report
It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.
