We start out by performing a 15 point check-up on you RC and we then provide you a written report of the results before we start working on your RC. The 15 point check-up report allows you the opportunity to decide if you want to add additional parts or services to your work order.

This is important as the report takes into account the type of usage you will be putting the RC through (bashing vs racing etc.) and we also take into account the type of terrain and environment ( wet vs sandy vs rocky) you use your RC in.RCcarStars offers you custom RC kit builds performed by experienced RC car builders.

Maintenance Tips

Since we all have a set of hex drivers at our bench, why not use one of your drivers as a gear keeper? Just line up your gears in size order, starting with the spur gears and ending with the pinions, and tighten the last pinion. Now you'll have your gears organized and within easy reach. If you're care has an on/off switch that is mounted inline with the chassis, make sure you mount it so that the on position is facing the front end.

Need more steering-servo power? Don't buy a new servo, just use a shorter arm to get more leverage! Servo-arm length does affect how much torque is applied to the steering system. A longer arm will give you less torque, but you will get more steering throw (assuming the steering system can accommodate it).
