Ballet Classes
Structured ballet training for ages 3 to adult with three progressive divisions. Nutcracker Production

What age groups do you accept for ballet classes?
We offer programs for children as young as 3 through adult learners with specialized divisions for different skill levels.
Do you require prior dance experience?
No prior experience needed for Young Dancer Division. Intermediate and Advanced levels require placement assessments for proper class placement.
How can I attend the Nutcracker performance?
Public performances are available with ticket sales through TPAC Box Office. Student matinees are offered free of charge to qualifying schools.

The directors are very passionate about sharing the art and discipline of ballet, using their experience as principal dancers, and also continuously learning widely about dance education. I appreciate they respect the findings by experts, and put everyones safety and benefit as the first priority. My daughters experience has been extremely positive and nurturing. They put dancers growth before money making, e.g. you pay for the participation to an event, not for each rehearsal that comes up. The parents are also very supportive and ready to work as a team. My daughter has danced at Kansas Ballet since they opened their doors. The directors are not only superb ballet instructors, they care for their students. They are continuously adapting to the needs of their current students. They also run a very professional business, which Ive found rare in the arts community. I appreciate the consistency and the communication. Theyve navigated Covid amazingly well and found a way to keep their dancers engaged no matter what the current situation.

We LOVE Kansas Ballet Academy! We've had a dancer at thier studio since they were a very new studio in town and we have loved every year. We really appreciate all the effort they have put into keeping our daughter "on her toes" even during these crazy times.
