Muncie Aviation
What sets Muncie Aviation Company apart? The way we see it, our job is keeping you up where you belong -- whether that's through aircraft sales, avionics, parts, service, flight or line service. We know you'd rather be flying, and everything we do is designed to get you there quickly and keep you there safely.

And best of all - our employee-owners will do it all with a smile you'll remember. With two large runways (6500' and 5200'), ILS and RNAV approaches and both 100LL and Jet fuel available, we're all set to welcome you to Muncie. If you're planning to drop by in something larger than a single or a light twin, you'll be glad to know that we have a tow motor and a forklift.

Report
There weren't a lot of people filled with optimism in 1932, with the Great Depression taking a particular toll on America's heartland. But there were some people who thought things were looking up - literally. Founded by Edmund F. Ball, one of the sons of the original Ball Brothers (famous for the Ball Glass Jars), the new company began as a dealer for Waco, soon adding Beechcraft and Aeronca.

He felt that everyone should fly, and he believed that Piper could provide everyone with that freedom. 130,000 aircraft later, that dream lives on. Today, Piper Aircraft provides a complete line of step-up aircraft - from rugged, reliable trainers all the way up to a high-performance turboprop.
