The Computer Cellar is owned by Daryn O'Shea, who started Triangle Laptops in Charlotte, NC, and then began serving Durham in 2003. Initially the company focused on internet sales of laptop repair parts. However, as the company grew in Durham, the crew found themselves testing, repairing, and rebuilding laptops for internal use, as favors for friends, and eventually for resale.

Due to current massive product shortages on both current and last-generation components, we have temporarily suspended custom builds: simply put, we can't build you anything right now because we don't have access to parts. We hope to see this change in the coming months, but until then you may want to consider working with system integrators that have direct access to manufacturer supply.
