In the Spring of 2007, after more than 20 years in the skin, nail and hair care industry I opened a Day Spa in Kitty Hawk on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I started my career in Coldwater, Michigan with a small and successful hair salon while raising 3 children. Now an 8-year resident of the Outer Banks, I discovered a need for a different kind of day spa after working for several other well known spas in the area.

Take exit 75 to merge onto I-64 E toward Norfolk/Richmond Airport 101 mi (1 hour 41 mins). Once inside the town/city limits of Kitty Hawk look for Capt. Franks and the Buccaneer Walk Shops on your right at the 4.5 Mile Post marker (just past 7-11 store and Kitty Hawk Road). Lotus Day Spa & Boutique is located in the Buccaneer Walk Shops-just look for our gazebo.

What makes one type of massage different from another and how do I know which one is best for me?. The differences in massage therapy have to do with the individual receiving the treatment and their needs. Our Massage Therapists provide a consultation with you at the time of your service to determine if you need deep tissue, Swedish, or a light soothing therapy.
