Louisiana's Trusted Convenience Store Chain
Founded in 1966, Shop Rite has been a cornerstone of Louisiana's convenience retail industry. Our commitment to friendly, courteous service began with John Dan Gielen's vision of creating community-focused stores that combine speed with quality. Over five decades, we've expanded to 62 locations while maintaining our core values of exceptional customer care and local engagement. Our stores offer a comprehensive selection of fuel, tobacco products, fresh food, home essentials, and financial services, all supported by innovative programs like Beaucoup Rewards. We take pride in our employees' dedication and our ongoing partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, having raised over $2.3 million through community-driven initiatives. This combination of personal service, product diversity, and social responsibility continues to make Shop Rite Louisiana's largest independently owned convenience chain.

I need to file a complaint at your St Charles St Houma La. Shop Rite. The manager is so unprofessional. She speaks to her employees horrible in front of customers. She is so rude and makes her employees cry. There have had other customers shocked at how she treats her employees. She definitely is NOT manager material. Someone needs to send her to manager and ethics school. I believe her name is Carol. This is serious and needs to be addressed ASAP!
