UPDATE: to three stars after finally receiving a call from Mr Chimney. They ordered a part and will have it installed when it gets here. Trying times with supply chain being backed up so they're busy and everything's back ordered. To be updated when the fireplace is finally repaired.

ORIGINAL: A guy from Mr Chimney came promptly to check out my gas fireplace on a Monday. The fireplace was basically stuck on ignition, and the fire wouldn't light. Two weeks later I haven't gotten a single update on what needs to be done to repair my fireplace. I follow-uped with Mr Chimney myself

We noticed a large crack in the plaster between our chimney and our house and called Mister Chimney to check it out. They responded quickly and were honest about our options. We took their recommendation and went ahead and replaced our old brick chimney with a new double wall steel pipe chimney because it was lighter and would avoid future problems. We were hesitant at first because of the aesthetics, but in the end it was the right decision. They finished the job very quickly in just a couple days and did a great job sealing the wall and matching the plaster to our house. All the rain and high

The workers arrived on time, repointed a section of the outside of our chimney & cleaned up after themselves. They looked things over carefully & repointed more than I even noticed. They were also very nice. The chimney looks great & more importantly is sealed against water damage. I highly recommend this company. Very fair prices, excellent work & excellent communication. I would certainly use them again if I need anything chimney related.
