Had a close neighbor of mine visit Mesa Valley recently, as Im looking to transition my mother in a nursing home that specializes in dementia care. Both mentioned the place looks beautiful - I guess the building is brand new. Needless to say there was no other positives during there experience. They mentioned the building had a strong methane smell in the halls, which the employee said is common with the city dump. The care in their memory care looked very poor. People were unclean, unkept and bored. They were mostly gathered in front of a tv. The only employee we saw was behind the desk playing

As a local business owner myself, I visited Mesa Valley over the weekend to see available options after my father gets released from Highland Manor. This facility is understaffed, unprofessional and poorly managed. Cant feel the least bit comfortable in them with his care needs, unfortunately.
