First Visit

During your first visit in-person visit with us, we will spend 20-30 minutes going over your health history in depth. This will be followed shortly after by a 30-45 min acupuncture treatment. We encourage you to share any lab work, BBT charting or additional information that may be relevant with us before your appointment by emailing it to admin@mightyriverwellness.com.

Excellent office! I had been to acupuncture several times prior to my visit but this place had a relaxing environment which was quiet and calm. Even the dog was chill! Beck really listened to my goals and used cupping therapy and moxa with the acupuncture and I walked out of the first treatment feeling great!

I called Mighty River Wellness because I wanted to learn more about how Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) might help my daughter-in-law with fertility problems. My daughter-in-law doesn't live in the U.S., so I was advised that she should seek a practitioner who is local. Beck is amazing!!! She has a plethora of knowledge that she will gladly share about how the body works. I appreciate the calm/zen energy she brings into the room before treatment. Whatever your need is, Beck can help you get to a place of comfort. In the past, I have seen her to reduce my stress levels and recently saw her for labor induction. I found this gem of a place on google and Yelp and had to take a shot with them and I was not disappointed. Karen, the administrative assistant, and Beck, the licensed acupuncturist, were outstanding. Karen made the process very easy and communicated seamlessly through email, while Beck is very caring, knowledgeable and values your input about how you feel your treatment plan is going which is rare to come by. I knew at the 12 month mark doctors would start testing us to rule out any issues and then suggest IUI and/or IVF. I heard about Fertility acupuncture on a podcast and loved the idea of working on my fertility more holistically. I loved everything about my experience with Beck and Mighty River Wellness. I came to Beck after trying to get pregnant for about six months and not having any success. She was so knowledgable, funny, and caring. Went in for a regular adjustment last week at Spine Rehab with Dr Arno. That's where I met Beck and have always been curious and hesitant about acupuncture. After some questions she scheduled me for an appointment. She was so kind and helpful explaining everything she's doing step by step. I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated. General stress and anxiety, and a less than ideal work from home set up had resulted in chronic headaches. They were so painful I couldn’t sleep and I found it tough getting through the day. My Doctor and Chiropractor suggested I try acupuncture as it is a great way to work on these types of headaches. Who knew? A few sessions at Mighty River Wellness and my headaches disappeared!

My husband and I have been coming here for about a month now and we enjoy every single visit. I have learned so much from Beck and every visit we go over my Basal Body Temperature chart and I am learning more and more about my body and how to increase my chances of becoming pregnant. I can't say enough about the Mighty River Wellness center. I had been fighting a horrible sinus infection and dealing with stress both in work and outside of work. Both of these left my immune system wrecked and my neck stiff and in a lot of pain. I made an appointment with Beck Hoehn and she went to work. She treated me with cupping and acupuncture, as well as sent me home with Chinese herbs to help the treatment along. Within 2 weeks I started feeling like my old self. I saw Beck for acupuncture when a friend recommended her for hormone balancing. I'm trying to get pregnant within the next year so optimizing my fertility was my main goal. I've been on birth control before (for years in the past) so just wanted to make sure I was doing everything I could to regulate my hormones. Dr Beck saved me! My doctor wanted to medically induce labor because I was over due by a week and a half. I really didn't want to induce because I wanted to try to give birth naturally. I was trying all the home remedies to induce labor myself, nothing worked. I went to Dr. Beck and within 4 hours of her needling me I started having contractions on my own!
