Speech therapy is most effective when there is carryover between home and clinic. At Desert Blossom, our mission is to include parents as an important part of their children's success. We base our session length on the needs and attention spans of our clients. In a typical 45 minute therapy block, time is included for parents to practice the techniques themselves, discuss strategies to use at home, and ask questions.

Amanda has over ten years experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. She has worked with clients ranging in age from 14 months to 21 years, focusing primarily on preschool-aged children with speech/language delays and children with autism. She has extensive experience evaluating children, both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary evaluation team.
