Dr Teichmiller is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama in Birmingham since 2017. She provides clinical training to all Alabama trained Dentists. She was recently named Assistant Director of the Comprehensive Care Clinic. Dr Teichmiller has served as the Official Dentist of the Miss Alabama pageant for many years!
She sponsors a Smile Scholarship that is awarded to a young lady pursuing a career in Dentistry or Medicine. Dr Teichmiller was named an international ICON in Dentistry by Ultradent for her work in mentoring women. Dr Teichmiller created the Mission Makeover Philanthropy where a group of specialists select a deserving recipient, provide free services to give them a new lease on life!
