At Chicago Swim School, we are dedicated to preventing drowning by teaching children and their families to be safer around all types of water. Every progression step has a specific safety skill built in from our StarBaby program thru our most advanced technique level. Additional steps are included to educate parents on practices to create a safer swim experience for their whole family.
Integrated character development lessons, a cornerstone of our process, makes us unique among all children's programs. We want students to not only learn to swim but to feel confident throughout the learning process. Making agreements with students to help develop responsibility and accountability builds their self-esteem and keeps them engaged.

Jessica started working at Chicago Swim School as a Swim Instructor a few years ago. She is very excited to continue making a difference at Chicago Swim School as the Facility Leader. She is passionate about ensuring the growth of our students in and out of the water. She hopes to continue making Chicago Swim School a wonderful place for families and staff.

Make-up lessons are available at Chicago Swim School for those enrolled in the SWIM Shallow or SWIM Deep monthly package. There are NO make-ups available for those enrolled in the SWIM Starter package. Students are eligible for no more than one make-up per month for the SWIM Shallow package and two per month for the SWIM Deep package if the absence is reported before the child's class time.

Visit our beautiful facility located at 2020 E. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights. The facility has been designed around kids including our shallow warm water pool, deck showers, bathrooms with showers and private changing stalls. We even have a separate play area for younger siblings while lessons are going on.

Our Starbaby Beginner level introduces parents and students between the ages of 4 months and 3 years old to the basics of swimming and water safety. We teach skills in a fun, song and game filled atmosphere so students feel comfortable and learn to enjoy the water in a safe way! This student is a beginner, probably a little nervous, and has little swimming experience.

All families new to our Starbaby Program start in this level where we take extra time to explain child holding positions, cues, and skill progressions used throughout the curriculum's 4 levels.Upon completion, students can move to any of the other 3 StarBaby levels based on their individual ability.
