What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most PPO plans but cannot participate with HMO networks. Verify our in-network status directly with your insurer as we don't participate in narrow network discount plans.
How do I schedule appointments?
Request well visits through our MyCoast portal or by phone. Sick visits require immediate phone contact with your location's office for timely scheduling.
What after-hours care options exist?
Call your location's office number after hours to reach our answering service. For non-urgent matters, use our portal messaging system during regular business hours.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Yes, we maintain daily availability for urgent medical concerns while ensuring continuity with your primary physician whenever possible.
How are prescription refills handled?
Request refills through MyCoast portal with 3 business days processing time. Controlled substances require in-person visits and cannot be processed through the portal.

We love this practice. We see Dr Del Re, and we have had an extremely positive experience every time we see him. He takes so much time with us, has a more holistic view of medicine than just doling out antibiotics for every sniffle, was extremely supportive of breast feeding, and is extremely caring. We have seen Dr Wood and Dr Lien when we've needed a same day appointment for an illness, and we have been very impressed with them as well. The nurses are great, the front desk staff is really friendly, and we are so happy with our overall pediatrician experience.

We had scheduled this appointment for the 3 kids to get well-checks. We were so excited as we heard raving reviews about this place. We scheduled this appointment, 3 weeks ahead of schedule to ensure it works out for the kids schedules/before school starts and away from camp. There were a lot of logistics at play here. We received a call the day before before stating it needed to be rescheduled because the Doctor was overbooked. We asked to speak to the manager and explained that we have been waiting for this appointment and our schedules are challenging. My wife even took the day off of work to

Dr Del Re and all the medical team at Coast Pediatrics in Carmel Valley are great. From the moment our son was born he has looked after him (and us!) during the daunting first few months as new parents. Getting an appointment is always easy and there is never a wait of more than a few minutes.

We love Dr Warner!!! He always takes the time to listen to us and his follow up is phenomenal. If our child is sick, he calls and checks in to see how they're doing. I trust him completely and papery his guidance. He's well informed and very patient. I am so impressed with this practice and lucky to have found it. We also met with Dr Taylor once and she was also great. Love this place!

I seriously can't say enough good things about Dr. Warner and this practice. He is the pediatrician for both my boys and we are beyond happy with him. He listens to concerns and works with you to find a solution that works. You will always have us as your patients!

The best peditricians in San Diego work at coast pediatrics! Finding a pediatrics office for my baby was difficult as a first time mom but the staff and doctors here have made our time the easiest.Dr.Warner listens to all of my concerns as a first time mom and patiently answers all of my questions!
