On your horseback ride, enjoy the panoramic views of Steamboat Springs from our amazing trail system. Follow your friendly and professional guide as they share information about our region, history, and wildlife. Ride the Steamboat Horses for a half day on this Summer Trail Ride. You'll see breathtaking views of the Colorado landscape and spot the abundant wildlife it hosts.

All full service camps are five-day hunts with one experienced guide for every two hunters. We include everything you need for a memorable deer or elk hunt except your license, gun, scabbard, sleeping bag, and personal gear. A majority of our hunters are repeat customers. You sleep in one of our canvas wall tents equipped with cots, mattresses, and a wood burning stove.

We pack you and your gear in and out of a fully-equipped camp in a prime Routt National Forest hunting location. Drop camps are available for rifle, archery, and muzzleloading hunts in units 5, 14, 161, and 214. Permitted in Game Management Units 5, 14, 161, and 214 - drop camps are primarily located in Units 14, 161, and 214.

On any two to five-day summer pack trip, we can ride up to mountain snowfields, explore complete valleys, climb hillsides of wildflowers, and reach high alpine lakes along the Continental Divide. Please let us know the length of your trip, the dates, and the number in your party before saying exactly where we can go.

We have hunted from horseback in the Routt National Forest for over 40 years. Del's Triangle 3 Ranch offers two great Colorado rifle or archery hunting experiences: Full Service Hunting Camps and Drop Camps. No matter which hunting experience you choose, you will be assured of being deep in the wilderness in prime deer and elk habitat.
