He is also a graduate of the L.D. Pankey Institute where he received post-graduate training in complex restorative dentistry, and is one of about 50 dentists in the state who have attained Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. A resident of Baton Rouge since childhood, he is a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club and St. Aloysius Church.

My 20 years in dentistry have afforded me many opportunities to serve in both administrative and clinical positions. I have worked with Dr. Brooksher in all areas of the practice, currently serving as the business manager. I also now have my own dental consulting business and am able to help other dental practices from the experiences I have gained in this great profession!

Dr. Brooksher was born in Joplin, Missouri. In 1964 his parents moved their family to Baton Rouge, which has been his home ever since. After graduating from Catholic High School, he decided to become a dentist. He had always enjoyed working with his hands, and he wanted a career where he could touch people's lives in a personal way.
Your First Visit

Your first visit at Dentistry by Brooksher will generally be a comprehensive exam, which will include an accurate assessment of your oral health and the opportunity for you and Dr. Brooksher to become acquainted. When you arrive, our receptionist will warmly greet you by name. If you download and complete our patient forms in advance, that will save you some time in the reception room.

At Dentistry by Brooksher, we offer a variety of payment options to help you get the dental care you want and need. In advance of dental your procedure, we will let you know the estimated cost of treatment, as well as the estimated portion covered by your insurance plan. Unless arrangements are made in advance, payment of your portion is due on the date that services are rendered.
