Bloomington Tutors was founded in 2013 by Alex Weissman, a graduate student in IU's School of Informatics and Computing. Using his years of experience as a math tutor at the University of Maryland, Alex began working with IU students in finite math, calculus, and K201. He realized there was a great demand for personalized, one-on-one help, and that the resources provided by the university were simply not enough.
Calculus

If you're going into a field such as business or science, you can bet that you will have to take calculus in some form or another. Even if you took calculus in high school, calculus at IU can be somewhat different. M119 tends to focus much more on applications, many of which are related to business and finance.

Chemistry is one of those subjects where you're either gonna love it or hate it. If you love it, that's great! Our chemistry tutors will make sure you succeed. If you and chem don't have such good - well, chemistry - but you still need to complete a required course, that's ok too. K201 is designed to provide an introduction to two of the most widespread technologies for dealing with data - spreadsheets and relational databases (SQL).
