The joint efforts, of the two kennels brings to you years of pointing Labrador blood lines. Dale & Brenda want to take these foundations of blood lines and make them work for YOU.

We now bring to you Nine, 4X-Grand Master Pointing Retrievers and Eight Grand Master Pointing Retrievers in the breeding program. The true test of good genetics is seeing these Great Dog make it into the American Pointing Labrador Hall of Fame. The Breeding program has produces FIVE Hall of Fame Dogs.

As everyone knows, it gets harder and harder to keep up with everyone's schedule in this fast paced world. It seems like it is getting almost impossible to make any plans as a family. One is going this way, and the other going that way. So here is a chance to meet each of us as we are going our own ways.

Jake & Moorea Merritt

Jake is now 31 years old, boy has time flown by. He still loves the horses a lot but now has a wife to take care of. Moorea is a very hard working wonderful girl. She is a Labor and delivery nurse, currently working at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. One of her passions is her horses, she has a gorgeous horse now that she loves to go on trail rides with him.

Mae

Report

Mae is Black Forest Kennel's 5th Grand Master Pointing Retriever. She is a Black Forest bred dog. Her parents, Gumbo of Black Forest and Miss Dixie of Black Forest are both owned by Bearpoint Kennel and Black Forest Kennel. She is a perfect example of the direction of our future-breeding program. Mae is currently working towards her AKC Master Hunting title.
