Expert Crane Owner Jim Doty begins career at Euclid Crane Company gaining experience as a machinist and plant assembler, lastly moving into field crane service. After completing the first service order for Manchester Steel, Jim Doty founds Expert Crane and begins the 40-year history of overhead crane manufacturing and offers "Service with Integrity."
Expert Crane purchases the Cleveland Beacon product line, which was the company's first step into the manufacturing of overhead cranes. Expert Crane partners with R&M as a Master Overhead Crane Distributor, and they expand into a larger facility. The Beacon product line was sold, and Expert Crane restructured their business plan around overhead crane service.
