This is the third time I have ordered doors from Nicks and will be my last time. Interior doors showed up without hinges.....the crate was open on one end so I assume they fell out. I sent them photos of the crate and I called Nicks and they said they would send out new sets (3) but never showed up. I even offered to pay for new sets. I followed up for weeks afterward and they always said they would ship out but they never showed up. Terrible service when you say you are going to do something and don't follow up. I just spoke with the most unprofessional person on the phone at Nick's, (02/04/21 approx 4:30pm CST). Perhaps their doors are very nice but I believe in doing business with people who are polite and profession. I asked a few questions about a specific door I saw on their website and was met with condescending and abrupt responses every time. It's as if I was bothering this guy. He SHOULD NOT be in a customer facing role of any sort! I wouldn't spend a dime at Nicks.

Stay away from this company. These people are just horrible. I could write a long explanation why, but it's not worth my time. Please do yourself a favor and shop with people who are respectful and kind and professional and deserving of your money.

I ordered set of new doors for the whole house. Many interior and exterior doors. Large order. Ordering went well until we paid the money and after that things started to get worse. It took them almost 3 months to make the order. Well, we patiently waited thinking we will get the best doors ever. Then the delivery was scheduled and doors came with simple food grade plastic covers - basically not protected. Several doors were damaged during shipping and looked like some of the were damaged and then someone attempted to do a quick fix and got the doors covered in stains in many spots, which made

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We bought our entry door from here years ago and had no issues- that is the only reason we called them for help with our interior door. I special ordered a door the wrong size from another company and needed it adjusted so I called and asked if they could correct it. I was told that they could and to bring it in. We take it there and they tell us that they don't normally do this but they will since we were told they did by "the old man." I paid close to $5000 for a new front door. You can see upon installation that the door is not perfectly rectangular. This wouldn't have been obvious upon delivery. First they claimed it was a faulty install, but when I showed them the picture there was no arguing that point. (Not to mention, I had 3 separate contractors confirm the door was defective.)
Nick's Building was then not only rude, but the best they could do is offer to send me a rubber strip and a piece of fuzzy pom-pom to close the gap. I told them that was unacceptable and they pretty much said there was nothing more

The order was late, the advice was terrible and the wrong doors were shipped. When contacted the staff was rude and refused to help even with the wrong doors clearly being sent. Stay away from this company at all costs !!!!
