I started NePalo Cabinetmakers in 2002. Fine woodworking had been a hobby of mine for a long time, but by profession, I was trained as an engineer and received my MBA from UT Austin. With this background, I spent several years working as a banker, a consultant, a production manager, and a software designer.
My heart, however, has always gravitated toward building beautiful things. Taking stock of our life, one day my wife suggested I take a chance and pursue my real passion - woodworking. We embraced the change in lifestyle and with the support of family and friends I began this journey with the hope of building a business that would incorporate both my engineering skills with my artistic vision.

In the past, we have created a wide variety of custom pieces, such as tables, side-tables, home offices, home libraries, kitchens, entertainment centers, bookcases, bedside stands, and sideboards.

1.-- How long does it take for me to get my furniture? It depends on the type of project that you want, but in some cases we can deliver your project in 3 weeks, in some other it would take longer. We deal with custom furniture so each project is unique. 2.- -What types of woods do you use? We use mainly certified hard woods that originate from forests that are Forest Stewardship Council certified for their sustainable harvest practices.
