Mr. Mulcaire trained in old-world carpentry techniques in Ireland, where he worked on major projects, including the renovation of Kilcolgan Castle. KingCaire construction recently completed the facade restoration of a nineteenth century Victorian row house in Northwest DC. The imposing, two-story brick row house had been modernized some years. Many older homes have a small galley-style kitchen separated from the dining room by a wall. This configuration is inconvenient and inefficient.
