Derrick Luksch began apprenticing with his father, Karl Luksch, master technician and owner of Precision Dental Lab in Sacramento, California, at the age of 12. His father trained him in all primary specialties with an emphasis on precision attachments and dental ceramics. Derrick was also privileged to learn from leading dental industry members, including Dr. Peter K. Tomas, Dr. Charles Stewart, and Dr. Jack Hockel.
