We started The Madison Center as a non-profit pediatric speech therapy center because our child, Madison, had severe childhood Apraxia of speech. Today we offer both speech and occupational therapy services with the goal to serve as caring, skilled professionals able to help address your child's unique needs. Our approach is to develop strong partnerships with each family as well as to deliver an interactive, play-based environment in which each child can thrive.

It's all so vivid to me still. Our daughter, Madison, was two years old and was not talking at all; we knew something was wrong. Shortly after she was diagnosed with Apraxia, a motor planning disorder that affects speech. Immediately our primary focus turned to finding her the best treatment possible.

At The Madison Center we first look at the child holistically, at how their breakdown in communication affects family dynamics and social peer interaction as well as academic performance. We tailor treatment by identifying strengths and weakness and we work together to optimize your child's progress.
Initiating therapy

1. Contact your insurance company. 2. Obtain order/referral from your child's physician if you haven't already. Your physician can send The Madison Center the order/referral via fax to 952-401-4285. If necessary you can access our services using your out-of-network benefits. We'll take care of all insurance submissions for you, as well as any authorizations or referrals that you may need.
