Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
One of the most important services Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy provides the community is its ongoing series of educational programs and field trips for adults and children. We have a number of ongoing monitoring activities designed to help us track the health of habitat and native species across Loudoun.

Habitat conservation seeks to conserve, protect and restore habitat areas for wild plants and animals. You can help wildlife and the environment as a whole, one step at a time. We have worked across our county to protect natural resources essential to life for both people and wildlife. Our vision is to forever preserve and enhance the globally rare wetlands at JK Black Oak Wildlife Sanctuary.

One of the most important services Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy provides the community is its ongoing series of educational programs and field trips for adults and children. Our programs offer a rich source of information to local residents on everything from environmental issues to education on local wildlife and habitat sustainability-and most of them are offered free of charge.

Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy offers a variety of nature programs, ranging from indoor classes to field trips such as birding and hiking. There is something for people of all ages, from beginners to the more experienced naturalists. Youth and Family Program
Report
Nature Play is free play that takes place in green spaces, where the child is able to choose their activity freely, is intrinsically motivated and personally directed. In addition to the numerous developmental benefits from free play, allowing the child to have a green space as a play setting extends the benefits even further.
Eagle Cam at Dulles Wetlands
Report
The nest cameras provide live-streamed, high-definition insight into the movements of the eagles. It is an incredible opportunity to raise awareness in the community about the importance of the protection of Bald Eagles living in the heart of Loudoun County. Ongoing updates on the eagles will be posted during the nesting season.
