Hondoo Rivers & Trails
Explore the Colorado Plateau on horseback! Hondoo offers 2 Utah Multi-Day Horseback Riding Vacations: the first features multi-night camping or you may choose lodging and meals at local inns. The Utah Canyon Country offers unparalleled hiking destinations. Visit pristine sandstone mountains, pinyon-juniper forests or red rock canyons with an experienced Hondoo guide.

What a wonderful opportunity to be guided into such beautiful country but such experienced guides. Our campsite was beautiful, walled by colored mesas and the bottomlands were lined with fall color along the way. Amazing sunrise, stars and wild horse viewings. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this trip!.

Horseback Tours
Report
Camping with the horses allows a deeper interaction among humans, horses and the backcountry we are passionate to share with riders. With the camp pre-set, not only are we able to spend more time handling the horses, but also provide more opportunities for more in depth exploration of the surroundings and ourselves.

The Area
Report
The Colorado Plateau was the last explored region in the continental United States. Bounded by the Grand Canyon on the south and the Uintah Basin on the north, this New England sized landform is often referred to as the Canyonlands, Canyon Country or 4-Corners Area.

It is the largest tract of unspoiled territory in the lower forty-eight and is the home of more formally designated parks, monuments, conservation and wilderness areas than you can shake a stick at.Modern writers have mythologized this landscape as the "Great Back-of-Beyond" and "The Place Nobody Knew".
