Principle Charlie Jeannet offers a unique skill set and understanding of code enforcement and construction techniques. An Alaskan resident for over 30 years, Charlie is experienced in both new and existing construction and inspection techniques throughout interior Alaska.
His former position with the City of Fairbanks Building Department as a structural inspector for 20 years included extensive experience in both residential and commercial projects, as well as plan reviews and involvement in the code adoption and amendment process extending back several decades.

We are licensed to perform ICC (formerly ICBO) inspections of new residential construction, as well as home inspections for buyers of existing homes. We also perform construction inspection for local government on occasion, as well as "Special Inspection" as required in the International Building Code for important structural components.

These inspections typically require an inspector with more specific knowledge and expertise than regular inspections, and can cover things such as soils, rebar placement, anchor bolt placement, structural steel welding, and suspended ceiling grids.Local building officials and inspectors typically do not have the expertise to conduct these inspections, and the responsibility of hiring a firm that does is placed on the project owner.
