The Speech Swallowing and Voice Center opened in 2009. We have continued to grow and now have a team of speech pathologist with many different specialty areas, allowing us to serve a more diverse population. We practice speech-language pathology, provide non-medical evaluations, examination, counseling for speech, and provide habitability or rehabilitative services.
We serve individuals with the following disorders: speech, swallowing, voice, language, oral pharyngeal function, and cognitive processes. We proudly serve Wichita and the surrounding areas!

About Us

Susan and Delane met while attending college at FHSU. Years later, they worked together at a hospital in Wichita, that is when idea of starting a private practice together was formed. Both grew up in small, rural towns and shared important characteristics such as work ethic, friendliness and compassion.
Adult Services
Report
At SSV Center, our seasoned adult therapist will provide a thorough evaluation and form plan for treatment. We can help adults with communication problems that might be from a stroke, head injury, neurological disease or other diagnosis; as well as thinking skills (cognition) treatment. Voice disorders are commonly seen at our facility.
