We have been breeding champion show dogs for 40 years, starting with Dalmatians in 1971. We "aged out" and are no longer able to run around the ring at the speed a large breed requires so in 2001 we acquired our foundation Affenpinscher bitch, Our heart is in producing Affenpinschers that will continue the excellence of the breed long after we are gone.

What We Do

Since 2000 we have bred Affenpinschers that are world-class champions and sought after as show dogs and pets. Prior to that we owned, bred and showed Dalmatians starting in 1971. Active at both the local and national level in both breeds, our commitment has always been to produce happy, healthy canine companions.

Here's a small sampling of the lovely champions that we are proud to have owned and/or bred at Coachlight. Poppit is our foundation bitch, bred by Kathy Weitzel and Betty Harney. She is primarily of Su-Dawn Kennels bloodlines, linebred on the great BIS/BISS CH Su-Dawn's Pee Wee Herman. This lovely black & tan bitch produced five pups in two litters.
