Auburn Classical Academy
Auburn Classical Academy began in 2007 as a small group of like-minded home-schooling families, meeting in a home one day a week for Latin and Grammar. As these classes grew and friendships blossomed, ACA expanded, adding more classes. In 2009 we organized as a church school under Alabama Code Section 16-28-7.

At that time, we were blessed that our growing student body was welcomed to meet at a local church facility. In 2012, recognizing our community's increasing interest in classical education, ACA partnered with Highlands Latin School and became a partner school of The Classical Latin School Association.

Statement Of Faith
Report
As a Christ-centered school, the faith of our teachers and families is paramount to everything we do. All classes are taught from a biblical worldview, as one of our goals is to integrate faith and learning. All teachers have expressed faith in Christ and maintain a daily walk with Him. Teachers will set a Christ-like example for students, both in the classroom and while off-campus.
Distinctives
Report
As Christ is the Truth (Veritas in Latin), all education rightly leads to knowledge of Him. So, more than a tacked-on Bible class at the end of a school day, ACA is committed to exalting Christ as the One by Whom, through Whom, and for Whom all Creation exists. God, the Creator of heaven and earth, cannot be separated from history, literature, mathematics, science, or any other academic discipline.
Governance
Report
ACA is governed by a Board of Governors which facilitates the broad vision and philosophy of the school. This team works together to protect the classical and Christian vision of ACA and pave the way for continued growth and success. Jermile Brooks and his wife Haley have three boys who have attended Auburn Classical Academy since their kindergarten year.
Testimonials
Report
Every teacher, parent and student we've met, has been so friendly and inviting. Our son is thrilled to be at ACA! Sixth grade is going to be amazing! Having dealt with a variety of different schools, I can say with 100% certainty that this is the best program in the area-children are taught how to learn as opposed to random memorization in preparation for a standardized test.
Faq
Report
We believe that God endows each of us with differing levels of aptitude with respect to different subject areas in the same way that He gives each of us different talents and gifts. Thus, in any given class, some students earn A's while others may earn B's, C's or even D's. Since the goal of education must always be knowledge and wisdom, grades are merely an indicator of student progress and do not represent a student's intrinsic worth.
