Shawn Kelly. I've been a Professional USCG registered Captain for more than 25 years. I have dedicated my career to the waters of Pine Island Sound with a special focus on Sanibel and Captiva.
I am proud to call the historic Jensen's Twin Palms Marina home, however we can pick you up wherever you'd like from Captiva, Sanibel, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Pine Island or North Captiva. I'm an avid fisherman, a husband and a father who has experienced the great opportunity to teach my son, but also hundreds of other kids how to fish.

This warm water brings huge bait schools of bait up the coast. These massive schools flood into the sound, and the larger predator fish that feed on them lie in wait. There are literally fish everywhere right now. Beaches, Passes, and flats are all productive this month. Summertime is in full swing on Sanibel & Captiva!

What should we bring? The SWFL sun is strong. Please dress appropriately and be sure to bring along hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, snacks, rain gear. Can we keep our Catch? Absolutely. You can keep any legal sized, in season fish you choose. We promote "catch and release" to keep our fishery growing, however you can certainly keep your catch.
