Discover Local Art at Gallery Moab
Gallery Moab was founded in March 2014 by a collective of local artists dedicated to enriching the Moab community through visual arts. Our cooperative gallery showcases award-winning painters, sculptors, ceramicists, photographers, and jewelry designers whose work is inspired by the Colorado Plateau's towering cliffs, snow-capped mountains, and hidden canyons. As a community-focused space, we prioritize direct artist-customer interactions, offering daily opportunities to engage with creators behind the artwork. Our diverse collection spans abstract to realism styles across oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and mixed media. We maintain strict quality standards through artist-led curation while supporting local creative economies.

The gallery serves as both exhibition space and cultural hub, hosting rotating displays of contemporary regional art. Our operational model emphasizes transparency, with artists present daily to discuss their creative processes and techniques. We actively promote art appreciation through educational outreach programs and partnerships with national parks. The gallery's physical space at 59 South Main Street #1 was specifically designed to optimize natural light for artwork presentation. Our team maintains professional affiliations with regional arts organizations while preserving independent operation status.

Apr 27, 2014 Report
This is a gallery different from all the rest. First and foremost, it is a coop, rather than the touristy businesses that line the main street in Moab. It is being run by the artists themselves, 19 distinct artists who are putting their souls into this venture. We found a lovely selection of mostly local artists, from impressionist painters, to photographers. In addition to having original works of arts, there were many prints and reproductions available to choose from, from the various artists. We really enjoyed the personal descriptions the members of the coop gave for themselves, their
