These are just a sample among an infinite number of questions that we may find ourselves asking at any moment in our lives. Psychotherapy is one means, and I believe a very helpful one, that can help you gain a better sense of why you have the questions you do for yourself AND how to find ways to provide some answers to those questions.

As human beings, we are born into this world with an innate desire to connect with others. Relationships are vital to our existence in this world. And yet, the way that we view or experience others is largely based upon earlier relationships that we have had in our lives. Unfortunately, these relationships are often not as healthy as they could have been and we are then left to repeat patterns that we learned when we were younger.

For my undergraduate education, I attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. It was during this time, that my desire to directly help others began to solidify. I graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Psychology and French Language. I am licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois, and am also a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor.

I charge $115.00 for a 55-minute individual therapy session and $125.00 for sessions with couples. I am currently an in-network provider with BCBS-PPO, BCBS BlueChoice, Medicare and Cigna. You can also utilize your out-of-network benefits if you choose to do so. If you do plan to use your insurance, to make things easier, I do ask that you call the member services number on the back of your card.
