It took foresight to form the association back in 1969 to share information about flying and maintaining the Cessna 170. Many hours have been spent by members gathering data and sharing information by way of the publications, at conventions, during fly-ins and on the internet forums. The International Cessna 170 Association is a nonprofit 501(c) 7 membership organization.
Contributions are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but dues and contributions may be deductible as an ordinary business expense depending on your tax circumstance. A. To encourage, aid and engage in the preservation, improvement, and better understanding of the Cessna 170 aircraft. B. To foster, promote, and engage in aviation education. C. To provide a source of information pertaining to maintenance and operation of the 170. The business of the Association is managed by Officers and Directors who volunteer their time for the benefit of all members.
Scholarships

The applicant must be a high school graduate or graduating the year they are applying for the scholarship and be enrolled in or graduated from an education institution with an aviation-related program. The applicant does not have to be a member of The International Cessna 170 Association. The applicant can be a part-time or full-time student.
