We offer guided fishing charters and rafting trips throughout Alaska's Copper River Valley. The Copper River watershed has some of the best salmon fishing in the world. We target King Salmon (Chinook), Red Salmon (Sockeye), Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. Whether you are looking for the famous Copper River Salmon on the end of your line, a scenic float along the Wrangell-St.

Elias National Park, or a multi day adventure through the wilderness of Alaska - We do it all! There is a fisherman (woman) in all of us. We aim to teach you the techniques for fishing in the fast waters of Alaska and catching the famous Copper River salmon. Your professional fishing guides will ensure that your trip is safe, fun, and inspiring.

Established in 2015. We are passionate about fishing and the rivers of the Copper River Valley. Brandon has been fishing these rivers for 15 years as a guide and now owner and is proud to offer a quality trip that is fun and safe for all skill levels. Growing up in Wyoming, Brandon Thompson was always adventurous.

Depending on water flows and species of fish, there is a variety of rivers and trips to choose from. Whether you want to have a mellow float or to get into some whitewater, Copper River Guides has it all. The Copper River Basin borders the Wrangell St. Elias National Park, the largest national park in North America, a volcanic mountain range rises 12,000 Ft. to almost 17,000 Ft. In addition to many fish species, there is also an abundance of wildlife in the area - so keep an eye out, there is a picture around every corner.

Portions of the Gulkana River were designated as part of the National Wild and Scenic River system by the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act in 1980. A wild river is free of impoundments, generally inaccessible except by trail, and has unpolluted waters. The Gulkana was recognized for its primitive character, abundant fish and wildlife, and its geologic, cultural and recreational values.

Copper River Guides Office positions are seasonal and full-time (40 hours/week). This position requires a great deal of responsibility. Bookings, accounting, customer service, retail, inventory, management, and shipping logistics. Shop positions are available Memorial Day through Labor Day, are seasonal and part-time (roughly 20-40 hours/week).
