Gray School of Music began in 1966 in Richardson, Texas, as Vicki Gray began teaching piano to area students. With 50 years in business, Gray School of Music has seen the music community in Dallas grow and flourish. In 1989, Gray Piano Studios moved to Preston Hollow where a large studio was custom built into her home.
Music Lessons

All study at the Gray School of Music is done in private lessons format. Lessons may be given online or live. Individual attention is given to each pupil's learning rate and needs. The amount of time needed for a lesson is determined by the age, ability of the student, practice habits, and number of extra-curricular activities.
Guitar for Children-Group
Report
Your child can begin making music on the guitar as early as four years of age. A small or size guitar will be selected at their first lesson. What a thrill you and your child will have as the first steps in guitar are taking as their small hands learn how to hold a guitar. You are welcome to come with your child to lessons and become involved in the learning process.
Strings Lessons for Children-Group

Let your child come experience the beautiful music of the violin or viola. At children's strings lessons, your student will begin learning proper posture and way to hold the instrument and bow. As the child holds the violin, they will learn to pic and bow at the first lesson. Your teacher can guide you in the selection of a rental or the purchase of a violin.
Composition Songwriting for Children-Group

I love to write! Sometimes I think about turning poems or stories into songs, but I don't know how. That's great! We love to help find melodies and chords to help turn your words into beautiful music. Songwriting is agreat art, one that takes time and practice, but with a little help, you can start writing and performing your own work!
