Dale Hollow Winery started with a story about a family that has lived in the quaint Missouri community of Stover for multiple generations. Asher and Jesse Dale, with their wives Ana and Katy, dreamed up the idea in 2012 and planted their first grapes in the spring of 2013. The tasting room was opened to the public in 2016.
The brothers' parents, Kenny and Beth Dale, are also involved in all aspects of the process making it a true family affair. Quality wine starts in the vineyard. We plant, prune, train, and harvest over 3,000 vines by hand. Vineyard and cellar management are year-round processes but this is what it takes for quality and consistency, and we are passionate about making good wine.

Dale Hollow Winery and Vineyard is a family-owned-and-operated winery located in Stover, Mo. Nearly 10 acres of vineyards are overlooked by the winery and tasting room including eight different varietals, both red and white.
Our family (the Dale's) believes good wine starts with quality grapes, and our mission is to achieve this through hard work in the vineyard to make great wines that are suitable to many individual preferences; as our motto suggests, "Wine is Personal."We believe this is starting to show as we have received multiple awards in the Missouri Wine Competition, including a "Best in Class", and other medals in the national, invitation only competitions.

The Lake of the Ozarks is a great place for visitors of all ages. Dale Hollow Winery is located close enough for a short, scenic drive to a destination that provides pristine vineyard views over rolling hills while sampling wine made on location. We are a family owned and operated winery, with all of us (Dale family) living in Stover and helping with every facet of growing grapes and making wine.
