You've always wanted to go on a guided horseback ride on the beach, right? Don't put it off another day. Sea Horse Ranch is located on the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway in Half Moon Bay, the flower and pumpkin growing capital of the world. As we are open for business we are following the county guidelines.
We are remaining 6 feet apart, sanitizing equipment including helmets, saddles and reins before each customer, and requiring staff and customers to wear face coverings to ensure we are creating a safe environment for our customers. This ride takes you farther down the Coastal Equestrian Trail, onto the bluffs above the ocean, down onto Poplar Beach, north on Poplar Beach for about 20 minutes, and then back to the ranch.

Sea Horse Ranch is happy to board your privately owned horses. We have a large, roping-style arena, a large round arena, and several other turn-out options. You are welcome to come visit your horse at the ranch at any time, arenas may be used at any time, however, access to trails is limited to our regular hours of operation.

After we receive your form, we will contact you to confirm whether your requested date and time are available. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until we have contacted you by phone. We use Height-to-Weight Proportion Chart to determine whether or not it is safe for you to ride. The final decision is at the sole discretion of the ranch.

This is our $90 Ride at a great price for you early birds who arrive at the ranch at 8:00am! You MUST be at our front gate by 8:00am to qualify for the discount. We recommend being at the gate by 7:45 a.m. Remember your sweatshirts and jackets. No coupons apply. We may also close due to severe inclement weather and/or extremely poor trail conditions, for safety reasons.
