Lake Point Vineyard is a family owned winery that specializes in fruit wines; such as Peach, Watermelon, Blueberry, Blackberry, Scuppernong Muscadine, Strawberry, Cranberry, blended fruits and our own dry red wine. Most of our wines will come from our own fruit but we will also support local Alabama fruit growers.
Wines from 14 different Alabama wineries were awarded 20 gold medals, 26 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals at the 4th annual Alabama Commercial Wine Competition (ACWC). Lake Point Vineyard and Winery submitted two wines: Honey Love (Mead) and Fresh Pear Wines. HONEY LOVE was awarded a GOLD MEDAL and FRESH PEAR was awarded a BRONZE MEDAL.
