Services
Chimney Sweeping
Annual chimney sweeping removes creosote buildup and debris to prevent chimney fires. Our CSIA-certified technicians use specialized equipment to clean masonry and prefabricated systems. Regular maintenance ensures proper ventilation and compliance with NFPA 211 standards.
Chimney Inspections
Comprehensive Level 1-3 inspections identify structural damage and fire hazards. We use video scanning technology to examine internal components. Inspections meet National Fire Protection Association requirements for residential chimney systems.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Professional dryer vent cleaning eliminates lint accumulation that causes fire risks. Our certified technicians clean exhaust ducts to improve appliance efficiency. Annual maintenance prevents carbon monoxide buildup in homes with gas dryers.
Firebox Rebuilding
Expert firebox restoration addresses deteriorated brick and mortar. We replace damaged panels and rebuild combustion chambers to restore safety. Specialized techniques ensure structural integrity for long-term fireplace functionality.
Waterproofing
Chimney waterproofing prevents water intrusion through masonry cracks. We apply breathable sealants to protect against freeze-thaw cycles. Crown coating repairs maintain structural integrity and prevent animal entry points.

Ronnie was punctual, kind and respectful. I have never used the fireplace and was pretty ignorant. He cleaned and inspected the fireplace and chimney, gave me excellent advice about using and maintaining my gas fireplace, and made sure I was completely comfortable lighting the gas. He was careful to leave no trace of soot on the hearth or floor. I was very satisfied with his work, and highly recommend Basic.

Amazing service! As a first time home buyer I was clueless about chimney/fireplace maintenance and utilization. Ron came out, performed his inspection and took his time walking me through how to use my fireplace. He was prompt, thorough and patient. I highly recommend using Basic Chimney Sweep!
