My husband and I built our home on OIB in 2011. Since that time, the aluminum railings have been failing. The coating has been peeling. I spoke with the president of the company and he informed me that there was only a year warranty on the product, and being st the beach they would be sandblasted and the coating would deteriorate . I asked why this was not apparent. He said he didnt know where houses were being built. I said it was up to him to do due diligence and inform builders to not put at the beach. For my money, anyone thinking of this product dont buy it. There are many better alternatives
