Wonderful care including the Dr's assistants. I feel compassion, professionalism, and I feel that I am really 'HEARD'. DR. WUNNOVA takes the time to listen. Not all Dr.'s that I've worked with have had the time and interest to seem to care instead of running their own agenda. Dr. Wunnova does care and listen and works with my concerns and needs. I so much appreciate his help with my care. I respect him and I feel respected by him and his staff.

Dr Wunnava is the most professional and straightforward pain management specialist I have had the pleasure of visiting, to date. He is the 3rd I have tried.
Patience is key. It took 4 appointments for us to find a treatment plan that worked. My goal was to return to the workforce without the encumbrance and uncertainty of sudden, unmanageable, pain-days. The discomfort along with anxiety of how long an episode might last was truly crippling. Finally, I think we have succeeded and I could not be more thankful. Its like being let out of an invisible cage always around you. I feel liberty.

Dr. Wunnava is the first and only doctor I've had that actually listens to what I'm saying about my pain. This is the 3rd pain clinic I've tried and it seems like the third time was the charm. I highly recommend the staff and office of Dr. Wunnava.

Dr. Wunnava has a great bedside manner as well as great listening skills. I appreciate that he sticks to what works for me and does not push for injections and other repeated failed therapies. Hes really good at staying on top of messages you send through the portal. It can be tough sometimes getting someone to answer the clinics phone but the staff returns messages within a reasonable amount of time; you just need to leave a voicemail. Dr. W can tap into my summary notes for other hospital appointments I have at Duke which is helpful for him to see theres a team caring for my chronic

I have been to many doctors in my 65 years but can't recall any of them that cares as much about their patients needs and concerns as much as Dr. Wunnava. Simply put, he is awesome! His staff is also amazing.
