The beginning of Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home dates back to 1931. In 1946 George William (Bill) Rinehart purchased the Tanner-Poindexter Company's funeral home in Jesup and began operating it under the name of Rinehart Funeral Home. In 1963 Bill Rinehart and his older son George William (Billy) Rinehart, Jr. formed a partnership and renamed the funeral home Rinehart and Sons.

Our owners and operators are Linda Rinehart Williamson, George William Rinehart, III, Leslie Rinehart Miller, and Gene Rinehart. We strive to serve your needs and best interests in a caring and professional manner!
