Infant Aquatics
Our Infant Aquatics program teaches babies 6-18 months to jump into water, roll to their backs to float, and breathe until help arrives. Older infants learn to kick to safety after floating. This life-saving curriculum builds water confidence and safety awareness through gentle, repetitive instruction tailored to developmental stages.
Youth Swimming
Youth Swimming programs develop fundamental stroke techniques and water safety skills for children who have completed initial training. Private and group lessons focus on progressive skill development, including proper breathing techniques, endurance building, and transition to competitive swimming readiness in a supportive environment.
Competitive Training
Our Competitive Swimming program provides year-round instruction in all four competitive strokes, starts, turns, and race strategies. Designed for serious athletes, this program emphasizes technical precision, endurance training, and mental preparation to help swimmers excel in competitive environments while maintaining proper form and injury prevention.
Adult Exercise
Adult Exercise classes combine warm water aerobics and Aquatrend Water Workout Stations for low-impact strength training. These sessions improve cardiovascular health, flexibility, and muscle tone through resistance exercises in a comfortable 90F therapeutic pool environment suitable for all fitness levels.
Special Needs Program
The Special Needs Program offers customized swim instruction for children with developmental challenges. Our certified instructors use specialized techniques to teach water safety, floating, and swimming skills in a sensory-friendly environment that accommodates individual learning needs and builds confidence through achievable milestones.

First off, I will say that I have almost never felt strongly enough about my experience with a company to leave a poor review. I believe that most companies try to do what is right and circumstances lead to outcomes that often times are out of their control. To put it bluntly though, The Pod and its staff, continually offer the worst customer service that I have witnessed in The Woodlands (all industries). Im not basing my review on a single experience. We have had three children attend lessons at the business. On multiple occasions with each child, we have faced situations where the staff was

Both of my boys took the infant swim survival class here and have continued to take lessons for the past few years. Our goal was to develop them into strong, confident & independent swimmers at a young age and The Pod has definitely provided the instruction and programs for them to do so. They are the only swim lesson school that I know of that will start babies as early as 6 months and teach them how to float to survive. Many other places will allow you to start your kids young but they are classes that require the parent to get into the water to teach and the setting is more of a group class

The Pod is hands down the best swim school in the Spring/Woodlands area. I tried private swim lessons & many other swim schools in this area. The Pod is the ONLY school who could teach my daughters(ages: 4 and 5) survival life skills in the water. I'm very grateful this school exist.

Absolutely HORRIFIC customer service from the woman I spoke to, trying to find out what availability there is (or is not) for an infant aquatics class for my 7 month old. I get that infant swim classes are basically more competitive for slots available than preschools in Manhattan, but the woman who I spoke to was incredibly, mind-blowingly rude about it. From the get-go, she misspoke about times available, stating infant classes started at 9 am, when apparently their only infant instructor starts at 10. When asking about waitlists for evenings after 5, her answers were only a curt months

We started here with the intention of just giving our 2 sons (5 and 7 years old) lessons. They learned so much and so fast, we ended up putting our other 2 kids in as well. At the time, our youngest was 16 months old. Wow! It was amazing to see how much she learned and in such a short amount of time. We all sat on our day of lessons watching babies learning how to survive in the water. Totally blown away! Although the classes are short and it is not one of the less expensive options as far as swim lessons go, I would still highly recommend this place to any parent, especially with young kids.

This place is the best! We love Ms. Sara. It's so good because the initial lessons are 1:1 until they learn the swim float swim technique. I've seen babies from 9 months to 5 years doing this on their own. Facilities are clean and staff is friendly. Highly recommend!
