We carry a full line of beef and pork products, along with groceries, beer, wine, liquor, snacks, and soft serve ice cream (seasonal). You can place your order with the kitchen while you grocery shop and take your supper home with you. The Elma Locker & Grocery, Inc. specializes in butchering and processing of beef, hogs, buffalo, goats, sheep, and lambs.
We also process deer trim, whole field dressed deer, and we participate in the HUSH program. This will be the 4th year for our deer processing plant, the building across the street to the North of the locker. This building will continue to be a 24 hour drop off for whole carcass deer. All deer need to be properly field dressed, tagged, and labeled with hunter's name and phone number.

Elma Locker & Grocery, Inc. excels in the process of curing and smoking meats. We are approaching our 7th year in business and have brought home 14 awards in a short time. Elma Locker & Grocery, Inc. is owned and operated by Roger and Karen Meirick, and Joe and Pat Meirick. Joe and Roger are cousins.

We carry many different flavors of hot sticks and summer sausage. We have an all pork ring bologna along with our award winning fully cooked beef and pork ring bologna.
2013/2014 Deer Contest

To enter the contest you must bring your deer trim or whole carcass deer to the locker along with a picture of it. I got out to the stand later then I'd planned and went to a spot that I put up a new stand in early September. As I got out to my spot I was welcomed by about 20 cows grazing under my stand.
2015/2016 Deer Contest

All photos and deer trim must be from the current deer season and the deer has to be processed at our locker. To enter you can submit your photo's and stories in person at the locker or via e-mail at elmalocker@iowatelecom.net. The contest will cover all of the deer seasons: youth, bow, muzzle-loader, and shotgun.
