RE-USE NETWORK @BIGISLANDRECYCLE Our goal is to more efficiently divert items from Pu'uanahulu Landfill by re-directing them to people, non-profits and business' to be re-paired and re-used locally; across Big Island Hawaii. Team JAH loaded and hauled 40 Cubic Yards of donations (to @bigislandrun and 808 Homeless Task Force), scrap metal (misc scrap: appliances, tires and propane tanks weight over 1 ton) and 22 CY / 2 Tons of Rubbish in one day!

The Hurtado's started offering Junk Removal service in 2015 as a side business to their Landscaping Company: Eden Mauka Landscaping. After helping two home-owners with complete real-estate clean-outs in 2018 their focus shifted from landscaping to real estate restoration. They fell in love with the process of restoring homes.

Please note that *special handling items have an asterisk and most often have additional fees for dumping or recycling by weight. This will be disclosed up front in our estimate prior to removal. ALL Electronic Waste is driven to HILO and Recycled at Mr. K's Recycling for a fee of $1 per lb. If you are a home-owner you can avoid these commercial recycling fees by taking these items to your local dump.

Appliance Removal

Appliances must be empty and outside your home or in garage to get on the schedule. Removal Fee is paid online in advance. If you do need assistance moving your appliance outside of your home- please let us know at the time of booking- in most situations arrangements can be made for an additional fee and a signed waiver.

Call (808) 824-JUNK to schedule an In Person Estimate. At the time of the in-person estimate Amanda will visit your home and when available meet you there for an in-person walk thru. You will receive a free written quote within 24 hours. Our quotes act as a written financial agreement; which details the total cost of the clean up including management, labor, hauling and disposal fees.
