I'm the principal designer and owner of Horizon Interior Design. I graduated from Oakland University in 1998 with a Master in Physical Therapy, and enjoyed a successful career as a therapist. I worked in home care, and found it intriguing to see the environments in which my clients lived. I grew a passion for interiors over the years, not only to make homes safer for my patients, but more comfortable and beautiful.
I received a degree from the Interior Design program at Baker College, and gained experience working as a design assistant for a highly successful designer in Birmingham, MI. Horizon Interior Design was created in 2015, and to quote Maya Angelou, "The Horizon leans forward, offering you space to place new steps of change."

The beautiful thing about technology today is that we can design your entire project in three different formats for you to preview. 3D CAD Renderings: See in three dimensional views exactly what the redesign of your space will look like. Floor Plan & Drawn Renderings: We can simply sketch up how everything will be arranged - based on final furniture, space, etc., letting you see our full plan laid out for you.

Interior design, like many creative fields, doesn't have a clear-cut process that works for all clients. Just as each client's needs are different, so are the roles of the designer in the project itself. I tailor my designs around my client's project requirements, but there are some basic design processes that are standard across the board.
