We've been a family owned and operated business since 1946. Our scrap metal recycling business was begun by Sam Lando in the 1920's. His son, Irving Lando, founded Ace Iron when he returned from his Army service at the end of World War II. Irving bought and sold scrap metals from the multitude of manufacturing facilities in the Kalamazoo area.
